1. Scientists think that lack of most of the coral and the forest may have something to do with lack of predators.
2. The only plants that are left in a lake called Guri, Venezuela are ones that have thorns and poison.
3. There are to many Howler Monkeys in one area.
4. Animals are going haywire and are spreading to many viruses
5. Lots of animals are getting scarce at Yellowstone Natl. Park
6. One wolf kill could feed thousands of other animals and insects.
7. The Beavers are back at the Yellowstone Natl. Park because of the wolf returning.
8. When they put the Wolf in the area of Yellowstone, the ranchers are complaining because it is making their job harder.

10. We have lost over 90% of the big fish are gone.
11. In St. Lucia, they have a marine reserve for their fish to come back.
12. Now most of the big fish are gone.

"Strange Days On Planet Earth"

1. We are the first of all of mankind to witness this kind of global change.
2. Researchers are finding "invaders" where they don't belong.
3. Some alien species are spreading disease and bacteria.
4. We could be pushing out luck with transporting different species.
5. Interlopers are a species that can chew houses.

On Yesterday 10-04-10, Group E watched a movie called Coral Reef Adventure. Based on how coral reefs are dying because of lack of algae, and because the waters are getting way to warm for the coral reefs to live and breathe/survive. Me personally liked the movie-- I liked the way the coral looked as it should be, but I for some apparent reason liked and disliked the way the coral looked as is was dying not to be mean but, I liked the white color that showed in the coral that's all. But the movie was very informative it talked about how without certain fish near the coral reefs that's a sign that specific areas ecosystem is down. They also talked about how the coral reefs are beneficial to us a s humans. Not only are they used to look at for beauty, but they can be used for calcium, they can ease birth pains, they can do lots to help us humans. I think that coral reefs are important to us not only for sight but for more than just that. So if you can can you please help protect the coral reefs.

Ice caps, Poaching, rare, Species, and human population are just a few thing that were mentioned in the movie Planet Earth: The Future Saving Species, they talked about how the bigger the human population is the smaller the land mass is, because if the human race keep growing in a specific area Like Austin, Texas for example the area is getting smaller and the area is also getting crowed compared to what it used to be, but the land isn't getting smaller it's just getting to be heavily crowed. And now in the Amazon's Golden Toad is all gone they are extinct. And if you don't know what the word extinct mean it means that it is basically all gone the species became less dominate in that area. They also talked about how 1/2 of the Earth's ecosystems, and landforms are gone because of deforestation/ burning of one or more area(s) to use for land, and use the trees for paper. They also use the Tusks from the elephant for ivory which is also called poaching. Poaching is also like stealing, but from animals, it mean that you kill an animal and uses its fur, skin, tusks, etc. Most people are now looking for ice caps that are steady and firm, but they are getting to be rare. The world's climate is getting unstady, so it is now up to us to get the the Earth right.

Game Topic WikiRecycling and, WikiPollution- are all good topics about how this effects our living. I really like this topic. And it is a chain reaction.I think that the two Best game topics are Littering and pollution, because I think that that knowing about pollution is more important than anything else, although there are a lot other things that I know that are important, I think that we should have a better world to live in before we should think about anything else.

I think that we should talk about how we can stop making pollution worse by stop littering, and start picking up trash, things like that.

The game I like the most was the one where you have to prevent the Lumberjacks from destroying the forest so the Foresters have to plant plants and stop the Lumberjacks. I think that the coolest thing about this game is that you can plant the trees before the lumberjacks take them all down. I learned that trees are important and help save the environment.

I am Music Man at the EACPA, and I am 12 years old and I am learning about Globaloria. Globaloria is a software that enables students to work and explore the wonders of making games and inter acting with others in your group. I really like it because I love the computer and I really like to blog, look up stuff, I like to draw in flash, I like to make a team page. I just love it

I think that Globaloria's adding navigation is hard and easy but most of all hard. The reason I say that is because I usually work with computers but not like this. I use shortcuts like, windows 7 movie maker, it is much easier, windows 7 paint maker, and other things that are with windows 7. But I can't disagree It was fun and hard. The part that I liked the most is the adding the frames, the action scrips, frame labels, adding the buttons, adding the animation, and the navigation. I also like adding the colors, making the scenes, making the drawings, making the everything.

To me I think that flash had been somewhat hard but I can live with it. I say that because I think that I know these things but I don't know a LICK ABOUT IT! So I try to go home and try to figure it out ahead of time but I can never get to it, so I just go with the flow of it at school and get/ work with my peers on flash for the first time. I think that if we sorta slow things down a little bit we can get some where but slowly. I think that the coding in flash is important because with out the coding we wouldn't be able to make the game go and the characters move around the screen. Also it would effect the screen changing. I think that if I wanted to become a flash expert I will just have to learn how to deal with it and go with the flow like I sorta do now but a little more, because I don't wanna get kicked out of the class if I really wanted that bad. I really think that they are helping me thought the programme and that I can do more things with the Web ex videos. But the bust thing about them is that go step by step to explain how to get the game done right and not wrong. Also it teach you how to do more stuff than what we already learned. Although I didn't say no to question 5 I have some improvement tips. First maybe Meredith can slow the processes down so I can kinda figure out what she is saying, and doing. I guess my slow intellect can speed up or something but the process do go fast but I can take notes I guess... Yes I guess it can flash will help me with my future but, but just a little.☻

SHANNON SULLIVAN VISIT

The visit from Ms. Shannon Sullivan was cool because she came all the way from New York to help us with our game projects and wiki. I thought that this Globaloria class was boring with the files to upload and stuff, but it is sorta fun but but when Ms. Sullivan came she made it fun by making jokes about how to upload flash files on to wiki. I forgot about some of them but it will come back to me later. But for some reason Mrs. Miller wasn't there to experience the coolness of Ms.Sullivan. Now I fell like I know a lot more than what I used to about flash, and in wiki. Like she taught us another way to get a SWF. file and a FLA. file. she said to go to file and go to publish settings and take off the HTML. and push publish. I liked it. I hope she come back soon.

A TIME IN FLASH

Drawing in flash is a cool and fun thing that I had trouble with. The first thing is that when I tried to make the picture come up it didn't,

I tried to save it it didn't, I tried to make the text appear and you know what??? I IT DIDN'T WORK. The flash is a hard thing to use and operate. But other than that it was fun. I think now that I think about it I want to go home and get flash and make my own game, and become more familiar with the software. The whole topic of my game is water and air pollution, to win the game you have to do all sorts of cool things to clear the level and win. I think it is a great game ☺.

So far my team has gotten really far with the game. We are almost done with the paper prototype and that is about it.

We have been getting along great so far but Elias he is not a participator. I think that groups are better because all the pressure isn't all on you and funner. I and I really like the way we all used our game topics for the one group project. Because I like the game now?.

Today it started to snow and everyone was so excited about it. I can't beleave this but it really came weeeeeeeeee!

and we will be able to get it done fast. I think that we will learn a lot from each other. We are al ready the best of friends. I really want to start the game and and have a lot fo fun doing the game. The way we are doing this we have each person that need to have a meeting with the group we will have a meeting and they can tell us what they want us or them to do. We will have a great time I hope... ☺

My job is the president. I am sorta good at this position but my team say I need to be more stricter. I had some disagreements with one kid he is so oh..... I told the teacher and he got some act right, he is the organizer he holds the paper.

I look forward for making the game, playing it, and going to Washington D.C.

The inspiration for my game is smokers and air pollution/water because with out water and air we wont be able to live.

Paper prototyping

The Green Effect I really liked when we showed the games/paper prototype but other than that I thought it was boring. I had fun searching it when we were looking up the information, and when we colored the prototype. No... Well sort of... Yes... No... Well I did not find it difficult it was mostly fun. Yes it helps with planning the game and you don't have to think of the game step by step and then forget. I enjoyed working with a team instead of having to do all the work by your self and that one

burden will be on you. I like most of it liked except Dajasia left that one day and we were a little behind but as soon as she came back we were back on scheduled.

I think It will go great and have a good time making our games.

I felt dumb founded with all the codes like: carrot._x = 400; carrot._x = 1; onEnterFrame = function() {carrot._x = carrot._x + 2;}. But all in all it was fun, especially when we started to make the carrot move it was fun and funny. But I really liked the part when I finished the whole project and the bunny, carrot, and the score was moving. It was fun because I was the first one to figure it out how to do it, and the bad part was I had to explain how to do it. I love to play Mario games, and I hardly have time so I play when ever I can

I feel confident, happy, and so privileged to get to make a game and to be apart of Globaloria, and this school. I was going to Fulmore middle school, but I decided no because the rejected me. And I'm glad. but that's another story. Anyway I am very happy that we have Globaloria because I love technology and I like computers. But the main reason why is because I've always wanted to make a game that every one can play and enjoy. But I know that it isn't easy but I'm sure that I can make it. Also I plan to learn this so I can make another game when I get older. I can also go to school and get a degree in technical studies.

My Game Project

My game is about air pollution. And the way I plan to do it /have the game is: First, I plan to have a loading bar and music in the background. and after it loads you can click on it. Next, after you click on the load bar you'll find a main menu which will have many hyperlinked buttons that will take you to anything you click on like play, select level, and more information. they hit the play. Then it will give you the instructions then you'll be able to play the game. First in the game, you can do a quest. And if you don't complete it you can't play the game because you have to agree to some consent forms that say you have to agree to be green and influence others to become green. On the first level you have to go through a course that will help you and show you what the main objective which is how to become more greener and how to convince people to join you in your greenness quest. Then, you'll be able to play the game by yourself. And when you have ***** or stars you'll be able to then colonise you city and name it what ever you want, and travel to another place that isn't as green as yours and convince the people of that town to become green. And if you convince all the people of that city you'll get a certificate of greenness.
